GIGGLBERG
From Gigglberg to the Zieltal Valley: Texel cable car » Gigglberg » Nassereit Hut » Waterfall » Texel cable car
Take the new Texel cable car (valley station between Rabland and Partschins, 640 m; car parking) up to the Gigglberghof (1565 m; snack station). From there take trail no. 24 (Meran High Altitude Trail) which traverses the steep woody slopes, level in places and gently descending in others in an easterly direction into the Zieltal Valley and thus to the Nassereit Hut (1523 m; no service!, 1 hr to this point from Gigglberg), where the descent begins. Head downhill on trail no. 8 through the woods to the fork in the path; bear left onto trail no. 8B. Cross the brook via the bridge and down via the Fletscherhof to the Wasserfall Inn close to the Partschins waterfall (service in summer). Take trail 8B down to Birkenwald (the birch forest), then continue downhill on trail 1 almost to Salten inn, then right over the bridge to Anderleit farm and via the Winklerhof down to the Texel cable car valley station.
