MERAN 2000
Falzeben » Zuegg Hut » Kirchsteiger Alp » Kreuzjoechl » Maiser Alp » Falzeben
From Falzeben car park (1621 m) take trail no. 14 via Zuegg Hut (1765 m) to Piffing / Meran 2000 (alternatively by gondola to this point), now continue via Waidmann Alp (2040 m), Kirchsteiger Alp (1945 m) and Meraner Hut (1960 m) to trail no. 4, also known as European Long Distance Hiking Trail No. E5 (from Lake Constance to the Adriatic). After approx. 20 minutes you will reach the Kreuzjoechl (1984 m) and turn at right angles onto trail no. 15 to the Maiser Alp. Continue on trail no. 15 to the Moschwald Alp, after the hut keep right, hike over the steep slope, cross the Sinichbach brook and soon arrive at the starting point in Falzeben.
