HIRZER CIRCULAR ALPINE ROUTE
Take the Hirzer cable car from Saltaus to the Klammeben mountain station (1980 m) and then continue on foot to the Hirzer Hut (1980 m).
Your excursion will take you via the Hinteregg Alp (1990m) to the Mahd Alp (2000 m). For the descent follow the marked trail to the Gompm Alp (1808 m) and then take the forest track via the Hochwies inn (1584 m) to the Prenn mid-point station (1404 m). Return journey by cable car to Saltaus. This easy and well signposted hike is a great way of experiencing the Hirzer area and its wonderful views of the breathtakingly beautiful surroundings.
